Michael has over 25 years of experience in full-service tax preparation, specializing in US expatriate tax and complex tax returns. Prior to founding Water Street Associates in 2007, Michael began his career at Coopers & Lybrand and then with Arthur Andersen as Tax Manager. Having the opportunity to travel on several assignments abroad in Europe and the Middle East early in his career, Michael’s expertise also includes complex high-net-worth individual tax returns, and business filings, as well as knowledge of expatriate and foreign national tax issues.
By approaching taxes holistically, Michael takes the time to understand the needs and goals of our clients in order to provide the best-case scenario for each particular tax situation. Michael and his team of tax professionals believe in establishing long-term relationships with our clients and growing alongside them. He is a graduate of Northeastern University with a BS in Accounting and also earned an MBA from Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business.
A Boston native, giving back to the community is a priority for Michael; he ran the Boston Marathon in 2012, 2013 and 2014 to raise funds for inner city high school students. In 2018, he ran the Authentic Athens Marathon in Greece, where he is from originally, and just ran it again in November 2023.

Ed began his tax career over 30 years ago with Coopers & Lybrand specializing in personal tax for high net-worth individuals and their S-corporations. He has worked with Water Street since 2008 preparing and reviewing complex multi-state individual tax returns. Additionally, Ed has significant corporate FP&A experience in the real estate, manufacturing, and insurance industries. Ed enjoys achieving the best financial results possible for each clients’ individual situation, via problem-solving, detailed analysis, and research. He works with
clients to plan future taxable transactions as tax efficiently as possible. Outside of work, Ed has been Treasurer or President of the Canton Highlands Homeowners Association for over 10 years and volunteered in the Read to a Child program from 2016 until the Covid lockdown in 2020. He is a graduate of Northeastern University, at which he earned both a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (major: Accounting) and an MBA. Ed is a member of the AICPA and CFA Institute.

Alison joined Water Street Associates in 2015 as a tax preparer. She has over 30 years of experience working in accounting, tax preparation, audit, and bookkeeping for small businesses. Alison is a tremendous asset to Water Street as she helps a lot of our Taxes at Work clients, which include employees of companies that we service who face similar tax issues (ESPPs, RSUs). A graduate of the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, Alison is a member of the American Institute of CPAs.

Tricia joined Water Street Associates in 2008 as a CPA and tax professional. She has over 25 years of experience in corporate and individual tax compliance, planning, and research. Her tax expertise includes expatriate and foreign national returns and has traveled abroad on assignments.
Early in her career, she worked at Coopers & Lybrand, learning valuable auditing and accounting skills, and then focused on developing her tax expertise. She concentrated on tax preparation, review, research, and planning for multistate corporate clients and high-net-worth individuals in several industries. Subsequently, she went on to become the Tax Manager of compliance for PerkinElmer, Inc.
Tricia is based in our Boston location and brings her strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assist our clients with the tax ramifications associated with important decisions while trying to minimize the overall tax burden. She works alongside Michael to bring the best results in complex tax situations and shares the philosophy of establishing long-term relationships with our clients.
A graduate of Boston College, with a BS in Accountancy, Tricia is a member of the American Institute of CPAs and the Massachusetts Society of CPAs.

Corrine has worked with Water Street for over seven tax seasons. She has over twenty-five years of experience in accounting. She has provided accounting, bookkeeping, and tax services for individuals as well as medium and small businesses. Previously, she held roles in the manufacturing and high-technology industries of Corporate Controller and Financial Reporting Manager. Corrine has a Bachelor of Science in Finance from Merrimack College, and an MBA from Southern New Hampshire University. She is also an Enrolled Agent admitted to practice before the IRS.

From helping secure new business to facilitating our online marketing initiatives and driving public relations activities, Didi has over 20 years of integrated marketing communications experience working with hospitality and lifestyle brands. Didi works out of our South Florida location to ensure that team members succeed in our day-to-day tax operations, and helps streamline client communication, especially during the busy months of tax season. Fluent in Greek and a self-taught chef and painter, Didi has a BA in Business Administration and Marketing from Adelphi University, and a Master of Science in Corporate Public Relations from Boston University College of Communication.
